Closer Walk is a group of friends that have come together, through their love of God and their love for good music, to do what they love to do. Closer Walk‘s mission is to see souls saved through our music and song, uplifting our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Jennifer Simpson - lead and harmony vocals, acoustic guitar
From Bessemer City, North Carolina, Jennifer has been singing for churches and special events since the age of 5. Jennifer loves to sing and play music, as well as write songs. Accepting Jesus at the age of 10, and writing her first song at the age of 11, Jennifer contributes most of the original material to Closer Walk, as she continues to write songs about her Savior.

Harold Simpson - lead and harmony vocals, mandolin
Also from Bessemer City, North Carolina, Harold has been playing music most of his life. Harold’s love for gospel music began at an early age when he accepted Jesus as his personal Savior. He was taught to play music by his father, the late Pastor Herman Simpson. He has played and sang in many successful groups, both local and regional -such as Straight and Narrow, Carolina Crossfire, FlintHill, and many more- prior to playing in Closer Walk.

Jeremy Arrowood - lead and harmony vocals, dobro
From Bessemer City, North Carolina, Jeremy began playing music at an early age. Raised in church, he has a deep love for the music. He's played for many groups prior to becoming a member of
Closer Walk. Jeremy is a wonderful musician, and helps to achieve the unique sound that we strive for.

Tom Fitts - upright bass
From Shelby, North Carolina, the son of a Baptist Minister, Tom plays upright bass for Closer Walk, and helps build the foundation

for the music with his solid playing. Tom is the quiet guy of the group, but when he speaks, he has everyone's attention. Even though he doesn't say much, he loves to praise the Lord and make music for his Savior.
